Java Team Lead/Perm
Job Summary:
This is a hand on position that requires leadership and superior soft skills as there may be client/customer interaction
This position includes the following duties. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications.
Apply strong Java/J2EE experience to design and implement enterprise level browser based applications.
May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
Responsible for achieving project delivery milestones.
Provide technical support to project team members.
Creates detailed documentation that will be passes on to Maintenance to help support the new or enhanced application, job or report.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Coordinates work teams; performs a variety of tasks; wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Mentor and Lead Junior to Mid level developers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA/MA is desired.
Minimum of 5+ years experience with Java/J2EE technologies (JDK 1.6, J2EE, Servlets, JSP) and Oracle 10/g/11g is required.
Knowledge of Javascript, Ajax, XML, Struts.
Hibernate, EJB3, Webservices, JDBC, Struts, PL/SQL, Linux, and CVS.
At least 6-8 years of experience in system analysis, design, and implementation of web-based applications.
Demonstrates expertise in JSP, Java Servlet, Webservices, JDBC and Struts.
Experience following a formal SDLC process is a plus.
Demonstrates solid working relationships with other developers, QA, the project management team, and business analyst.
Ideal candidate would have developed enterprise level browser base solutions.
