Senior HTML Software Developer

We are looking for a strong engineer to architect, design and develop the user interface for a digital home networking solution.?

The candidate should be very familiar and experienced in principles of computer programming.  The candidate should have experience in architecting solution frameworks that are extensible and sustainable. The candidate should have experience in technical leadership.  The candidate should be able to work with the product management and the creative teams to finalize a comprehensive and solid set of requirements that would be used to drive the technical design and development of HTML based applications.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • BSEE/BSCS or equivalent
  • 10+ years of development experience
  • 3+ years of iOS development, both native and web
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience
    • Object Oriented Design pattern guidelines
    • Framework creation based on general environment requirements
    • Solid familiarity with:
      • data structures and algorithms
      • common design patterns
      • the creative process
  • Specific  experience in
    • Key focus on building platforms which are able to be extended, maintained, supported, branded and localized.
  • Backend and Front End development experience
  • Cross browser/cross platform expertise is a must
  • Extensive programming experience on the following areas:
    • HTML, DHTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, jQuery
    • XML, JSON, REST, SOAP
  • Working knowledge of:
    • jQueryMobile
    • PhoneGap
    • PHP or equivalent Back End technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly desirable if candidate has
    • experience with developing applications for 10 foot interfaces
    • experience with Embedded platforms that have specific resource limitations
    • experience with Ux design

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Creative team on UI designs that meet functional and usability targets
  • Working with Engineering management to meet the scalability and sustainability targets
  • Coding and supporting HTML UI application framework to meet Client's application needs and reuse targets
  • Creating applications for the ROS HTML interfaces
  • Providing technical direction and mentorship to others within the technology team.
  • Debugging issues with the application
