Job Description: Sharepoint Technical Architect

CGI is seeking a SharePoint Technical Architect to join our newly formed and growing team in Richmond, VA. In this role you, will be responsible for architecting an enterprise document solution across all divisions of our client's organization, while leveraging SharePoint 2013 and K2 blackpearl to build and run business applications including forms, workflow, data and reports.

As the SharePoint Technical Architect on the team, you will work with other CGI members and client staff to analyze, design, and document enterprise requirements for the solution to apply across all divisions including document taxonomies, metadata, retention/destruction, usage patterns, etc., and for providing SharePoint 2013 architectural and technical product expertise to apply the solution leveraging best practice approaches towards satisfying the enterprise and divisional requirements of the solution. In addition, you will have the opportunity to mentor more junior SharePoint developers, review their technical deliverables, and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants should have prior experience installing and setting up SharePoint 2013 environments, while working with multiple project teams to create a consistent usage of the SharePoint environment. Candidates who have experience creating technical system designs for a SharePoint and K2 blackpearl-based enterprise document management solution are strongly desired!

REQUIRED

Skills:

- Significant technical experience with SharePoint-based document management solutions, including Microsoft SharePoint 2013
- Experience with ASP.NET programming
- Experience with K2 blackpearl workflow engine (preferred)
