Description

Key Role:
Provide system analysis, design, development, and implementation of Internet, multi-tier Client/Server applications and Intranet applications. Translate use case requirements, technical specifications, and design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal and external clients. Write programs, ad hoc queries, and reports and follow a software development methodology and architecture standards. Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues and defects, participate in other meetings, including those for use case creation, document issues and defects formally, and support resolution until closure. Use design patterns for the design and architecture of system components, including session façade and service locator. Evaluate and select new open source frameworks to improve development process, and products. Identify and develop prototypes to address functional and non-functional critical requirements, develop technical specifications using standard modeling techniques, develop estimates for design and implementation level of effort, and provide technical leadership and direction to junior developers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-Experience with language and methodologies, including Java/J2EE, EJBs, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, JNDI, or RMI-Experience with JSP and Servlet development-Experience with object-oriented development-Experience with Struts/Spring Framework and Hibernate-Experience with XML, XML Schema, or XSLT-Experience with configuration management methodologies and tools, including CVS and SVN-Experience with creating SDLC artifacts using UML 2.x-Experience with SOA, ESB, Web Services, WSDL, or XML-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:-7 years of experience in a technical specialty-Experience with JavaScript and cross-browser support issues-Experience with writing stored procedures and triggers-Experience with Java Script-Experience with writing technical specifications-Experience with object-oriented analysis and design and usign standard modeling techniques, design patterns, and UML-Possession of excellent analysis, problem solving, and relationship building skills-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
