What you need:
- Must love to develop.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise application technologies; C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, AJAX, Web Service development, and Transact-SQL development for SQL Server. Silverlight, Java, Ms SQL, HTML, Ajax and ETL tools.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of broader architectural concepts important to the Microsoft platform, including ASP.NET Application/Session/Request life cycles, Garbage Collection, caching, etc.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and developing a cross-browser compatible website.
- Understanding of web architecture such as session, cache, cookies
- 10+ years experience developing web applications
- B.S./B.A. Computer Science or related field
Desired Skills:
- Full application experience, including Front End and back end
- Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with implementing a distributed caching layer such as memcached.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft development platform including the management and configuration of the platform for scaling web applications to service over a million unique visitors a month.
What you will be doing:
- Develop new features of our website, including desktop, Facebook application, and iPhone applications and high-volume transactions
- Full Life Cycle Development
- Work with VP of Engineering, designers and analysts to define new features
- Produce high quality code
- Perform peer code review and overall site QA
- Bring new and fresh ideas to the table
