This is a phenomenal multi-year contract for the right individual with the right experience. Look below and view this is a checklist. If you can check off all of the boxes, this one very well could be for you!
4 YEARS EXPERIENCE:
~ As an MS SQL DBA (including configuration, tuning and implementation experience)
~ Troubleshooting database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues and security issues, to name a few.
~ Troubleshooting issues related to SQL Server database components, including the central processing unit (CPU), memory, input/out (I/O), disk space, and other resource contention areas.
~ Evaluating existing schema and implementing improvements that have made a significant impact on database performance
AND 1 YEAR OR MORE EXPERIENCE:
~ Working with Windows Server 2008 R2, MS Active Directory and Local Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) security delegation and storage components
~ Using SQL Server Clustering and high-availability (HA) technologies, including mirroring, log shipping, failover cluster and various replication technologies
~ Working with implementation and support of SQL Server 2008 R2/Windows 2008 R2 clusters and BizTalk 2010 (or later version)
