Job Description

We seek a Software Developer with web development experience to design and develop software for customer-facing services and enterprise platforms.
In this role you will collaborate with other developers to create a great user experience for customers both inside and outside of Rackspace.

Responsibilities:

- Provide estimates for development effort.
- Implement proof-of-concept, prototypes and production-grade software.
- Proactively drive code refactoring and reuse.
- Create unit and acceptance tests, test-driven development
- Perform production deployments.
- Assist support and operations staff in troubleshooting issues, implementing bug fix and deploying platform hotfixes/upgrades.

Job Requirements

Requirements

- 1-5 years of experience in commercial software development.
- Experience with Web development, including basics such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript and more advanced concepts such as Ajax, JSON, jQuery and Scripting languages.
- Experience with C# .NET framework
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with Agile and test-driven development methodologies; fanatical about software quality.
- Experience with other software development languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
- Possess a solid software engineering foundation gained through Computer Science course work or relevant work experience.
