Responsibilities

The Associate Data Analyst will be part of the Clinical Assessment (www.pearsonassessments.com) Direct Marketing and Strategy Services team. This is a data mining job, so you will be responsible for data mining and processing and cleaning of data for marketing campaigns.

Position Description:

-Works closely with managers to determine data extracts for marketing campaigns using specifications.

-Writes SQL queries to extract data from the company order management system.

-Compiles and coordinates list acquisitions from external sources.

-Processes and cleans all list data to specified formats to marketing campaigns.

-Works with data analyst to product post campaign results

-Performs ad-hoc report requests as needed

-Other duties and special projects as assigned.

-minimal travel for training purposes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in computer information systems or other related major.

We are seeking an SQL whiz!

You should have signigicant experience in writing and running good SQL queries. You will be working with an Oracle database, so we will need you to have that experience too. Also, you will be writing VB code for Excel and Access appications. You should be able to create macros in VB.

Other qualities we are looking for:

Prefer experience with data extraction and cleaning tools, Business Intelligence tools, and querying on relational database systems.

Of course this goes without saying, but in this job we want someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented.
