Job Description

The Product Design team at Rackspace seeks a Front End web designer with a sharp visual design aesthetic, a passion for web technologies, and a strong sense of user-centered design. We are a tight-knit team working on the MyRackspace Customer Portal - a public-facing control panel customers use to manage their hosting configurations.

We are looking for someone with a clear passion for learning, who is capable of strategic design thought in a fast-paced environment. Their strong sense of responsibility drives them to seek awesome technical solutions and clearly communicate tradeoffs with stakeholders.

We'd like to talk if you:

- have a portfolio with usable, beautiful web apps you've designed and coded (HTML5/CSS3, AngularJS)
- participate in web design and engineering communities and events
- are comfortable coding in a few different web application frameworks
- enjoy tinkering with new technology in your spare time
- have a solid undertanding of UI/UX principles
