Description

Key Role:

Architect a next generation C2 system for a navy client. Architect solutions that integrate existing and new capabilities to enable mission requirements and leverage a broad range of technologies, including service oriented architecture (SOA) patterns, COTS, GOTS, and custom development. Participate in client engagements in the strategic analysis, planning, and execution of IT-enabled business solutions. Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations, specifically around service oriented technologies and architectural patterns and demonstrate experience in designing and implementing system integration efforts, blending COTS, GOTS, and custom development tools to deliver a customer solution. Research and deliver best-practices for service-enabling systems, using industry standards in multiple communities, and architect, design, and implement service-enabled, interoperable systems. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development, using J2EE technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, GWT, and JavaScript, COTS implementations, such as GIS, reporting, or portal technology, and systems integration
-3 years of experience with providing technical leadership to junior staff, mentoring on software engineering design, development, frameworks, and analysis of alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients
-Experience with SOA infrastructure services, including security, service discovery, messaging, service management, and metadata management
-Experience with developing service specifications and standards and existing DoD, IC, and industry standards and working groups
-Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise architecture environment and understand complex business processes and articulate technical ideas in team and client environments
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting and delivering in the Navy market and broader DoD and IC engagements
-Experience with leading SDLC projects with Agile
-Experience with C2/ISR domain and systems
-Experience with the Ozone widget framework

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
