Lead Android Developer - Permanent

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Lead Android Developer to join our client in San Francisco, California.

Job Responsibilities:
- Be the team lead for Android Software Development.
- Develop and port feature-rich mobile multimedia applications on Android platform.
- Work closely with Product and Project Management on feature definition and project schedules.
- Work on complex software infrastructure for VERY user-friendly interface.
- Participate in bug-scrubs and provide technical guidance to the test teams to build manual and automated test suites.
- Actively investigate new technologies.

Jobs Qualifications:
- Four (4) year degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Previous experience leading a team of at least two to three (2 - 3) developers.
- Three (3) years of [commercial] software development experience working with Android mobile platforms.
- Eight (8+) years of software development experience.
- Experience in Git version control.
- Experience in using Ant build Scripts.
- Hands-on experience using Linux.
- Experience working with streaming video and audio.
- Adobe Flash and/or Adobe Air experience is a plus.
- Knowledge about software architecture and development on the Server Side of a web application.
- Knowledge and experience on Web Development (HTML, CSS etc.).
- Proficiency in data modelling, RBMS and MySQL.
