Key to our continued success in this hypercompetitive space is taking enormous volumes of data and turning them into useful, actionable information to drive increased user engagement through great Bing features and improvements. We're talking petabytes of data about how searches succeed, how they fail, and how we can improve Bing and our partner properties like maps, commerce, travel, and more.

On a daily basis, the Bing Captions and Rich Captions team dissect and summarize billions of web documents to enrich the user experience across document types, segments and devices. Collaborating with numerous teams across Microsoft, our team develops fundamental Back End technologies and user-facing features which redefine the way our users interact with search.

Our team is facing a rapidly evolving landscape, complex partner ecosystems and large-scale engineering challenges. We have a Senior Lead Program Management opportunity to help us face these challenges head on. In this role, you lead a team of 5 Program Managers in the envisioning, planning, design, spec'ing and shipping of key differentiating features, as well as fundamental improvements which help us close the gap with our main competitor.

Who are you?
You're a self-motivated Senior Program Manager or Senior Program Manager-to-be with an obscene attention to detail. You have a proven ability to ship ultra-high quality software and pitch wild ideas. You're a thought leader who's eager to define what's next for our millions of users. You're an industry blog troll and do not shy away from using competitive software in order to better understand what's going on in the market. Structure isn't everything for you; you're agile and adapt to whatever your projects, your development teams and your people need to succeed. As a result, your execution is silky smooth.

You understand Bing is playing catch-up, and know how to balance jaw-dropping, differentiating new features with fundamental improvements. Your decisions are based on the right combination of data and instinct.

You don't just understand and have experience with global development, you embrace and accommodate it. Writing is one of your core skills, but make no mistake: you're a wildly technical individual who knows his or her way around web technologies.
