The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of Global Workplace Solutions' (GWS) projects from request and scoping through hand off to operations.

The Project Manager must work effectively with all organizations to meet the company business goals and reach a high level of customer, stakeholder, and employee satisfaction. GWS projects have high business impact and require a great deal of coordination and communication across various departments within the company as well as with third parties.

The Project Manager is responsible for the application of high quality project management skills, processes, and people to meet various project requirements. The Project Manager must ensure all of the necessary infrastructure, processes, tools, resources, and people are in place in order to deliver project requirements within scope on time and on budget.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating project teams to overcome obstacles in driving projects to successful completion. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the standards by which projects and programs are managed by GWS.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resources and manage the process and schedule during the scoping, design, conception and initiation phase of various projects.
- Partner effectively with all departments including marketing, sales, business development, engineering, finance, human resources, and information services to ensure all requirements have been received and approved by stakeholders prior to design.
- Develop overall project plans, drive and document requirements, scope; budget, manage all risks and issues.
- Develop an effective partnership with IT to identify and resolve issues caused by inter-dependencies.
- Responsible for managing project budget.
- Ensure design requirements are completed to Dolby's specifications.
- Develop communication plans for both internal and external communication, and identify and implement improvements to our current process and procedures.
- Work closely with and support Regional Managers as needed
- Prepare scope and charter documents for each project and gain necessary approvals prior to the project commencing.
- Manage scope changes through the established GWS Change Order process.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 3-5 years professional experience in facilities project management.
- Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to manage a team made up of cross-department and cross-level resources.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organization and problem solving skills that include the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities.
- Experience working for an organization with a proven track record of delivering multiple or concurrent global projects, on-time and on budget.
- Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to work independently to achieve goals established in a team environment.
- Strong process/project management skills with the ability to apply solutions to business problems rapidly.
- Strong skills in leading, communicating, negotiating, problem solving and influencing organizations.
- Practical experience with risk analysis and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) global best practices with an aim of becoming Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, MSOffice, Sharepoint, Hyperoffice, SAP and InDesign.
