We're looking for people who:
- Designed products that lots of people use and love (web application, mobile application, transactional website)
- Are passionate about designing useful and usable web or mobile apps
- Enjoy explaining the reasons behind their design decisions
- Successfully negotiate for changes and experiments so that we're constantly moving our designs forward
- View design holistically, as a balance of business goals, desired customer behaviors, and existing customer mental models

At Yammer, we move fast. We've realized the best way to move fast is to hire smart people, and then trust them to work autonomously, use their best judgment, and make decisions. We don't care which tools you use or which hours you work. You'll be working in cross-functional teams, usually with one other designer. It's your job to recommend design solutions, collaborate and negotiate with product managers and engineers to build the best possible product.

We have a product vision, but by developing incrementally and testing, we are constantly validating it and adjusting it as needed. We have strong opinions, but we know that observed user behaviors and data are what "prove" what works and doesn't.
