Here after are underlined the main activities of the Business Analyst:
- To support the BOM, WIP, Inventory, Costing, Purchasing and Demand Planning (Demantra) Modules in Oracle ERP
- To support the interface of MFG & Planning to boundary applications
- Work with Oracle Metalink support in finding patches or solutions to bugs that are encountered in Oracle ERP
- Work on enhancements to Oracle ERP as requested by business users
- Work on gap analysis, solution specification, design review as well as QA testing for local projects
- Co-ordinate with developers, other business analysts, support managers and DBA's over support issues
- Act as a lead in driving issues to resolution
- Participate in solution design meetings with business teams or other IT teams
- Participate in Test cycles of other projects that impact the Purchasing/Planning area in this division
- To Conduct the solution confirmation activities and the fit/gap analysis, identify key gaps and ensure that the foot print and design meets the local requirements
- Ensure the integration between the project team, Support team and the business community
- Implement approved enhancements and support the project rollouts
- Ensure design fits with current requirements and future business direction
- Ensure processes consistency
- Ensure that Change Management process is followed for all changes to Production System
- Ensure timely issue identification, resolution, and appropriate escalation
- Participate in status review meetings and provide timely feedback to team
- To communicate the functional and process requirements to the development team by developing and maintaining functional specs documents
- To run functional, integration and solution acceptance testing
- To lead functional conversion activities in the specific area of competency
- Reduce our dependency on consultants, in the application area, through an efficient knowledge transfer process
Job requirement
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business or IT
- Travel to Stryker sites as needed
- 25% average travel
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Oracle EBS systems implementation activities or Oracle Production Support experience
- At least one full circle implementation in MFG and/or Demand Planning (Demantra) modules
- Experience/functional knowledge of Oracle ERP in any of the following Supply Chain areas is preferable: Inventory, Shipping, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, ASCP, Costing
- Experience in Inventory, BOM, WIP, Costing, & Purchasing is a must
- Experience in gap analysis, functional specs doc creation, design review, creating functional test cases and performing functional testing
- Good communication skills
