This position is a Back End web services developer with the Web Services platform group. The services platform will enable development and delivery of entertainment applications and content for Intel-based platforms. Technologies you will be using; Scala, AWS, Akka, DynamoDB or any NoSQL, Java, Eclipse or any IDE

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical based discipline. Master's of Science degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 years experience in data structures, distributed cross-platform applications and functional programming
- Minimum 6 years of experience developing web applications with a DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar data store
- Minimum 6 years of experience developing and deploying web services
- Minimum 6 years development experience with Java, Scala or other OO technologies

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building web properties to scale used by millions of users
- Experience developing in Scala. Akka a plus!
- Experience with Amazon EC2, Azure, Terremark or Rackspace Cloud Servers
- Experience with software development methodologies like Agile
