Yoh has a (12) month plus contract opportunity for a Senior Perl Developer (Server Side developer) to join our client in Santa Monica, CA.

Job Overview:
Our Client is looking for someone who is interested in making a big impact as part of a small, dynamic team and is looking to have broad responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Write Server Side code for web-based applications.
- Well-rounded engineers to create robust high-volume production applications.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters of Science (BS/MS) in Computer Science or related field/degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Extensive programming experience in Perl/mod_Perl.
- Several years of large scale systems design experience, with extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Proficient in SQL and schema design.
- Proficient in Object Oriented Design and development.
- Should also have a strong understanding of, and practical experience developing web apps in Perl.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- HTML: Mason or Template Toolkit experience.
- JavaScript/Ajax frameworks experience.
- Ruby/Sinatra experience.
- Experience with open source software.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- C/C++/Objective-C, Java, Ruby, Python (strong OO skills preferred).
