SAP SD/MM Consultant

Edward Carter is currently seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Consultant for an exciting permanent opportunity.

My client, which is growing significantly, uses a variety of SAP modules in ECC6. To meet their growth plans, they want to enhance the balance of skills within the team, and are looking for an experienced SAP SD/MM Consultant.

As a SAP Consultant you would be responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions and supporting the SAP system to help other departments complete their work successfully. Ideally you would be able to do your own development work using ABAP. Experience of work on interfaces between SAP and other software would be useful.

With demonstrable experience as a SAP Consultant you will have strong experience of customer support, project completion and SAP development. You will be able to demonstrate a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, show your well-developed interpersonal skills as much as your technical SAP ability. In this business SAP Consultants are valued as much for their ability to build effective relationships with their internal clients as they are for their SAP competence in the way they deliver consistently high quality results.

With proven experience working as an SAP Consultant you will have been involved in at least three full life cycle SAP projects and be skilled in SAP SD and MM configuration, reporting, and systems implementation.

We would expect you to have extensive experience of project management methodology, including planning, testing, training and documentation standards.

There is an element of travel as part of your role with occasional visits to sites in other locations eg. UK, USA, India, Sweden and China etc.
