Yoh has a 12 month contract opportunity for a Java Web Software Engineer to join our client in Seattle, WA.

Job Responsibilities:

- Combine your engineering knowledge with the latest web technologies to solve interesting business problems and new ideas.
- Your solutions need to scale as they will be launched to a potential audience of 6 million + subscribers.
- We practice Agile methodologies, plan rational schedules, and our cross-functional teams build strong, collaborative relationships as partners in the delivery of quality products.

Job Qualifications:

- B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.
- At least four (4) years experience in the design and development of Internet applications and large-scale distributed systems.
- Demonstrable talent for elegant object-oriented design.
- Solid Java programming experience. Experience with Dependency Injection (Spring), ORM (JPA, Hibernate), Java NIO (and Jetty or Tomcat support), Multithreading (Java.util.concurrent), OSGI, XML processing (JAXB, StAX), and Apache Maven desired.
- Solid experience with Server Side Java development, and understanding of SOA and enterprise integration patterns. Experience with RESTful services desired.
- Strong software testing skills, including experience with TestNG, JUnit.
- SQL and data modelling experience; MySQL desired.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with the Scrum methodology.
