Description:

SAIC has a requirement for a Deputy Program Manager in support of the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC). Work is primarily performed in Sierra Vista Arizona and at Fort Huachuca Arizona.

Candidate performs Project Management functions in support of the Total Engineering Integration Services (TEIS) contract and task orders. This includes: Primarily supporting all Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC) IA Directorate work, and secondarily providing support to other ISEC Directorates. Functions include providing technical expertise and writing in support of multiple information technology and communications functional areas; writing and presenting technical solutions, management and staffing plans, and quality control plans in support of TEIS task order requests; developing basis of estimates, and work breakdown structures in support of task order responses; maintains awareness of customer's needs and relates customer needs to SAIC capabilities and technology to support task order responses. In support of TEIS task order responses and SAIC revenue growth, assists with capture plans, competitive assessments, and favorable teaming arrangements. Candidate performs TEIS task order management functions to include minimizing overhead expenditures, maximizing revenue on tasks, and limiting employee turnover; works with other SAIC functional representatives and departments such as: Contracts, Subcontracts, Pricing, Finance and Project Control as required.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have the ability to manage cross-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality project outputs on time and within budget. Candidate must ensure appropriate management, customer, and supplier involvement throughout the life of each task order. Candidate must be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns, and assure customer that SAIC is executing the task effectively and efficiently. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of successful Project or Program Management experience. Candidate must have a Secret security clearance at time of hiring.

Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, engineering, engineering management, mathematics, or physics. Candidate must have some formal project management training, preferably Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Portions of SAIC to be renamed Leidos, Inc., subject to stockholder approval and consummation of a separation transaction if approved by SAIC board of directors. SAIC is pursuing a plan to separate into two independently traded companies: one that provides technical, engineering and enterprise information technology services primarily to the U.S. government (the new SAIC), and one that delivers technical solutions in national security, engineering and health (Leidos, Inc).
