Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer role will use his/her manual and automated software testing skills along with knowledge of Microsoft C# and Team Foundation Server's Coded UI functionality to ensure a quality delivery of world-class, industry-leading solutions for the healthcare industry.

1. Work within an agile framework (Scrum) to create and execute formal test plans for both manual and predominantly automated testing of commercial enterprise software.

2. Track work items, queue builds, and check in/out automated test script code in Visual Studio 2010

3. Create manual test cases and test plans using Test Manager 2010

4. Execute manual test cases using Test Runner 2010 including data diagnostics, and new bug item generation.

5. Record, playback, and trouble shoot CodedUI Automated Test Scripts in C# programming language

6. Analyze, configure, and verify data in the database using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

7. Report and track tested environment data and formal Test Approach documentation using Microsoft SharePoint

8. Employ good written communication and organizational skills, including using Microsoft Word and Excel
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

Minimum 3+ combined years experience testing commercial client and/or server applications

Minimum 3+ years experience working with test automation

Minimum 3+ years experience working with Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience in agile/scrum development environment

Experience with Microsoft (TFS) Test Manager, Test Runner and Coded UI using C#

Experience of conducting software tests in Remote Desktop and Citrix environment connections

Experience testing WPF applications
