Description

Job holder will be responsible for monitoring systems and applications, troubleshooting any incidents and escalating problems to management and support when necessary. Interfacing with application support, reviewing and maintaining shift turnover and performance of daily batch jobs.

* Monitoring systems and applications using proven effective monitoring tools, troubleshooting incidents and escalating to application support and management.
* Performing daily batch jobs for the various applications.
* Review and maintain a daily turnover.
* Performing user request.
* Participating in recovery procedures, booting systems, and recovering applications.

Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years experience with knowledge of UNIX (Sun Solaris and AIX), Linux (Redhat), Windows and OpenVMS.
* Experience with the following is beneficial: NETCOOL, HP Openview and MQSERIES.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Team player who works well with technical and non technical areas.

Job holder must have in-depth knowledge of multiple applications in production scheduling, control procedures and maintaining processing service deliverables, on multiple platforms or in multiple environments. B.S. Degree is highly desirable, preferably in Computer Science.
