Description:

The Network Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and sustainment of a large-scale government enterprise network. Common tasks can include analyzing and implementing network solutions, operations and maintenance, and updating network documentation. The candidate should be comfortable with Cisco IOS and wide area network (WAN) technologies including multiplexers, SONET and t-carrier systems.

Qualifications:
The candidate is expected to have the following skills or knowledge:

. Experience with Cisco IOS.

. Experience with BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP and troubleshooting L1-4 networking.

. Experienced in capturing and analyzing Sniffer traces and packet captures.

. Experienced developing physical and logical networking diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

. Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls a plus.

. CCNA REQUIRED

. Security+ REQUIRED per Defense Directive 8570.

. DoD Top Secret clearance is desired but eligibility will be considered.

Travel Requirements: Approximately 25%

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline OR equivalent education and experience. 4 years of direct, relevant experience required OR 4 additional years in lieu of degree.
