Scottrade, Inc. has a Business Continuity Planner Level 2 position available in Saint Louis, MO.Scottrade's Business Continuity Team is responsible for maintaining a program in which actionable plans are used to mitigate the impact of a disaster on our clients and associates. This program is continuously evolving to meet the growing needs of our clients. This position will be responsible for the development, exercise, and maintenance of business recovery plans and strategies through strong collaboration with all departments and levels of the organization. In addition, this position plays an integral role during recovery and continuity efforts.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct business impact analysis.
* Assist in developing plan testing requirements, provide oversight of tests, and conduct formal gap analysis.
* Assist in developing strategies to reduce risk and close gaps identified in Risk Assessment and Testing.
* Provide oversight of plan maintenance.
* Assist in managing the recovery during a disaster as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Ability to manage projects within select tracks of the Business Continuity Program with supervision.
* Understanding of the broader impact of actions to the Business Continuity Program.
* Demonstrates a strong customer focus.
* Intermediate knowledge and application of Business Continuity Professional Practices: Program Initiation and Management, Risk Evaluation and Control, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategies, Emergency Response and Operations, Business Continuity Plans, Awareness and Training Programs, Business Continuity Plan Exercise, Audit and Maintenance, Crisis Communications, and Coordination with External Agencies.
* Intermediate level knowledge of Business Continuity Plan Management Software and Emergency Notification Services
* Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
* Intermediate level proficiency with Adobe and Visio technical writing tools.
* Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers and all Scottrade associates and by having a positive attitude.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Disaster Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
* 3+ years of Business Continuity, Risk Management or related experience required.
* 1+ years project leadership experience required.
* ABCP (Associate Business Continuity Planner) certification preferred.
