Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Network Solutions Consultant to support our client remotely from St. Louis, MO or anywhere east of St. Louis, MO.

Job Overview:
- This is typically a week on site followed by a week remotely at home. All travel costs covered 100%.

Job Responsibilities:
- Providing a variety of technical and non-technical consulting, and advisory services for clients both inside and outside the company.
- The Consultant functions in both a pre-sales and post-sales capacity, with broad horizontal skill sets and a core competency in Routing, Switching, Load Balancing and Security technologies.
- Competent in key areas such as Solution design, implementation, configuration, relationship building, and client interaction.
- Responsibilities include understanding and evaluating current network implementation at client sites and determine any gaps compared to the strategic business direction.
- Demonstrates experience in working in a team that analyzes, designs, implements and troubleshooting of network architectures and solutions in order to best meet client requirements; leverages resources from different teams to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Determines methods and procedures to be implemented and used on the most complex new Network technologies to enhance performance. Determines approach for customer, based on assessment of customer needs.
- Demonstrate technical and advisory skills for customers, sales, and other consultants and effectively communicates the technical and business message.
- Successfully participate in complex customer accounts or company projects, bridging between the needs of the customer and the company.
- Work with Sales, Account Teams to provide technical expertise, inner workings of the consulting business and delivery of consulting solutions, such that company offerings and technical capabilities are maximized on each customer engagement.
- Propose Solutions that exceed customer expectations by creating additional value and the need for future engagements through implementations that meet technical requirements, target scheduled milestones and budgets.
- Actively participate in Network implementations, migrations, support on all turn key projects to all levels of hosting, operations, and service delivery teams.

Job Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience with designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex network infrastructure in datacenter environment with expertise in Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, Citrix/Netscaler and Checkpoint.
- Have a high degree of competency in technical areas: Networking Protocols/Services like BGP, OSPF, IPSec, GRE, HSRP/VRRP, NAT/PAT, SNMP, MPLS, VPLS, QoS, STP, RSTP, 802.1Q, Port-Channel, Flex Link, SPAN, VLAN, VTP, 10GigE, GigE, 10/100 Ethernet, T1, DS3, SONET, DNS, Web Application Firewalls, Cisco ASA Firewalls, F5 GTM, LTM Load Balancers, and Packet Analysis.
- Exceptional communications capabilities, giving presentations, and speaking publicly.
- Must be approachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technology focused environment.
- Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Vendor Certification(s) in areas of expertise such as CCNP, CCIP, CCDP, F5 or related equivalent
- Advanced degree preferred
