Software Solutions Sales Engineer Software Engineer We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Software Solutions Sales Engineer with C++ programming and code development experience to join a fast growing St. Louis Data Management Company.
We are searching for a Software Engineer/Sales Engineer who can work closely with sales teams to support the technical side of the sales process.
This includes being an expert on the technical aspects of the product suite and an expert at determining where those products will have a positive impact for a customer.
A significant portion of the Sales Engineer role will be to build and foster strong relationships with customers to introduce them to the company's data technology.
Responsibilities include educating the customer on company features and interfaces. As the process progresses, the Sales Engineer will assist with proof of concept operations, installations, and initial support.
After the sale the Sales Engineer will take ownership of their accounts and will become an advocate for their customer within the company.
A good candidate for this role should be:
* A Software Engineer with a sales mentality.
* Willing to perform some hands-on work to ensure successful engagements.
* Experienced in code development in the form of example applications and
demonstrations.
