Job Description:
The Technical Vendor/Supplier Management †Coordinator position manages the business relationship of key strategic security technology vendors. This position must be an effective leader and communicator in working with partners and vendors, as well as with internal groups such as National IT and Local Reserve Banks. The position leads cross-functional and cross-business projects. Work with other organizations and strategic vendors to develop product roadmaps, updates and software lifecycle planning in support of priorities. The position will support processes that will instill excellent and consistent procurement. The Technical Vendor/Supplier Management †Coordinator position will be responsible for maintaining our current vendor relationships and mature those relationships to benefit delivery, performance and partnership. This role is one that requires strong technical knowledge, team leadership, cross-team collaboration, business acumen and strong relationship management skills within IT, the Business & vendor portfolio.

Key Activities Include:

 Develop, monitor, and manage both technical and non-technical
relationships with (FRS) strategic vendors on behalf of the System.
 Work with National Procurement Office (NPO) and other organizations to provide input for negotiating vendor agreements.
 Participates in the RFI/RFP process for video security and physical security vendors.
 Works with finance, procurement, and contract personnel to implement and hold venders accountable for signed agreements.
 Understands existing contract and is able to communicate to teams.
 Establish and implement quantifiable measures to monitor and ensure quality and timely delivery of vendor services, products, and other defined deliverables.
 Ensure vendor provides services in accordance with contracted terms.
 Maintains information and documentations on strategic vendors.
 Monitors and drives vendor incidents to closure while monitoring incident trends.
 Establish, review and analyze metrics on a regularly scheduled basis (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual). Communicate results to key stakeholders and vendor. Identify trends, improvement areas and manage improvement process as necessary until resolved.
 Monitor and evaluate processes and work with vendor, FRIT, and other organizations to provide effective on-going support.
 Work with project teams to coordinate vendor activities, eg, installations, software/hardware upgrades.
 Serve as liaison between National support teams, Districts, S4 project management teams and strategic vendors.
 Responsible for driving process improvement and strategic relationships between vendors and Company.
 In conjunction with the Service Desk and local support personal, work with vendor support teams to resolve complex technical incidents. Take the lead in incident escalations with vendor as needed.
 Manages root cause analysis and facilitates any subsequent communications and process improvements. Works with vendor and teams to develop procedures to remediate identified gaps.
 Facilitate the clear and organized exchange of technical and non-technical information between National IT, local clients, and strategic vendors through meetings, training, and documentation of information.
 The Technical Vendor/Supplier Management †Coordinator must understand the vendor roadmap and regularly assist in communicating the plan to constituents.
 Participate in budget planning process by providing input to Financial Management and Project Teams. Regularly review vendor pricing proposals to understand detail and to ensure consistency in pricing. Ensure rebates or other vendor financial incentives are carried out.
 Serve as a resource regarding the category for security systems.
 Maintains a detailed understanding of the requirements, IT environments, projects and overall goals and objectives.
 Maintain a current knowledge of available and emerging products and services pertinent to the video, physical access and advanced authentication methods such as PIV government standard.
 Coordinates meetings to resolve problems.
 Coordiante the purchase of equipment and software
 Initiating contract negotiations working with the National Procurement Office
 Work with vendors to initiate vendor policy changes and communicating those policy changes to stakeholders.
 Performs other duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience:

 Bachelor†s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, and/or technical certification preferred in combination with a minimum of five years†experience in information systems.
 ITILv3 Foundations (or higher) certification preferred.
 5 years†experience in Vendor Relationship Management or Procurement
 Excellent written, verbal communication and statistical reporting capabilities
 Outstanding organizational and documentation management skills
 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources
 Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical business owners
 Flexible with shifting priorities

 Proficient knowledge of ticketing systems (Remedy) including ability to pull report
 Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint
 Knowledge of computer components including; Storage Area Network, servers, and personal computers
 Understanding of backup/recovery methods
 Knowledge of surveillance equipment, including cameras, Digital Video Recorders, Card Readers, Motion detectors and intrusion alarms
 Proficient knowledge of work aids, such as blue prints, schematics, and wiring, topology and rack elevation diagrams
 Working knowledge of networks, server infrastructure and how disparate IT resources connect.
 Ability to work independently in a team environment.
