Scottrade, Inc. has a Windows Support Analyst position available in Saint Louis, MO.The main purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise in support of all business and IT sponsored projects. This includes the configuration, management, and support for the Windows Server environment and related hardware and software.

Reponsibilities:

* Perform basic level administration duties required to maintain the Microsoft Windows Server environment
* Provide basic level technical expertise and perform tasks for all related infrastructure projects, including business continuity and disaster recovery
* Provide 24x7 support of the Microsoft Windows environment including after-hours maintenance and on-call duties
* Work closely with business and I.S. associates, and outside vendors to effectively design, plan, and execute Windows environment additions and changes
* Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Basic knowledge of Windows administration and tuning concepts.
* Basic knowledge of server hardware systems.
* Understanding of LAN/WAN concepts.
* Good communication and professional skills.
* Understanding of storage area networks and network attached storage environments preferred.
* Experience with Virtualized Computing preferred.
* Ability and willingness to continuously learn and improve technical knowledge.
* Basic knowledge of Scottrade Key Systems and associated technical dependencies preferred.
* Ability to implement defined solutions or other known technical elements with little or no assistance.
* Ability to perform basic level monitoring and troubleshooting using known documented steps.
* Ability to complete projects or other tasks consistently and in a timely manner with some assistance.
* Ability to rack 50 pound Servers as needed.
* Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers and all Scottrade associates and by having a positive attitude.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
* 1+ years professional and/or academic server experience required.
* 1+ years of technical experience in current Intel/Microsoft Windows-based server design, configuration, management, troubleshooting and support, including clustered environments, and directory/security/email support and administration preferred.
