Serve Enterprise provides cutting edge technological services in alternative payments in an innovative payment processing platform, payment card network, and new consumer payment solutions to the Enterprise Growth division of American Express. Systems Analysts analyze business needs working with various levels of end-users to create the logical specifications for software/hardware systems that will provide a solution for the needs of moderate to complex business problems. Performs the research necessary to create technical designs and logical functionality which will ensure that business application systems can be effectively developed and implemented to meet actual business needs. This position focuses on the analysis, definition, and logical design of hardware/software systems.

Job Responsibilities:

PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Translate business requirements into functional/system specifications
- Systems analyst will work closely with development to define the technical
- Capable of oscillating between business requirements and technical requirements
- Determining the potential solutions and testing them for both technical and business compatibility.
- Systems analyst will work with QA Analyst in creating a testing schedule for completing the systems testing.
- Analyze/research complex problems and provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Qualification:

TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING:
- Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
- Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and Client Server architectures.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- SQL skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Visio; MS Access and MS Project are plusses.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES:
- 6+ years experience as a Systems Analyst.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including facilitation and team leadership skills.
- Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations.
- Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance.
- Must take initiatives and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to facilitate effective team interaction.
- Able to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally.
- BS or BA degree in a related field required, unless there is significant, relevant work experience.
- Preferred - Payment processing experience.
