Test Coordinator Test Analyst Electric Utility

Currently, we are seeking a Test Analyst to join our team of professionals. Selected individual will support the testing process by executing, and reporting test cases, executing to the testing schedule, recording software defects in defect tracking tool and actively participating in defect resolution, and providing test status reports to test team. The incumbent must be able to work independently without immediate supervision and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Key test engineering skills needed: Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and quality principles Demonstrated system test experience Ability to write and execute test cases in the knowledge domain for this assignment (hardware, firmware, software, etc. as appropriate) Ability to understand basic functional and technical requirements Ability to elaborate business requirements into detailed, viable hardware/firmware/software requirements as appropriate Ability to develop test scripts/scenarios/test cases Understanding of Unit, Functional, System, Performance testing and the tools utilized

Familiarity with system architecture and database analysis

Experience on complex projects Experience with software and hardware test fixtures Electric utility project experience CMMI and SDLC methodologies

Tools and Skills

• Hewlett Packard Quality Center (HPQC);
• CaliberRM
  Demonstrated knowledge of Unit, Functional, System, Performance, Technical, Operational testing and tools utilized
  Experience in electric utility technical solutions;
  Demonstrated strong electrical background or engineering degree;
