Project Manager responsible for leading strategic programs and coordinating across large cross functional teams to deliver solutions for Short Term and Long Term Funding at GE Treasury. Works closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to prioritize critical deliverables to support a changing business environment. Essential Responsibilities: Role Summary/Purpose Continued: Ensures related requirements and milestones are met accurately and in timely manner. Defines operating mechanisms with business partners with quantifiable metrics on IT performance. Focus on simplification of processes, data acquisition, systems integrations and delivering reporting solutions while delivering according to PMO requirements.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Supports functional business requirements and delivery of new/enhanced business processes.
Develops and obtains sign-off of all functional business requirements.
Performs model and redesign processes, workflows, and roles in support of business change. Participates in transitioning the requirements and use cases to system analysts, and ensures a clear and complete understanding of the system requirements.
Participates in problem resolution for issues and end-user acceptance testing. Identify and define application requirements and use cases.
Performs project management of all tasks and resources, estimating and tracking progress against individual plan, and monitoring development activity to overall enterprise plan with a strong focus on simplification strategies.
Establishes dynamic IT alignment and strong relationships with functional team members to define and execute multiple parallel work streams with adherence to PMO standards and deliverables.
Works effectively across IT verticals in a matrixed environment to drive project delivery.
Leads a team of business analysts and coordinates design, build and testing cycles with broader IT teams through all phases of the project life cycle and production support.
Identifies and manages project interdependencies from other work streams (eg, data flows, ETL, reporting solutions etc.,)
Develops and implements strategies, policies, standards and controls to promote the appropriate definitions and use of data for Funding functional requirements.
Identifies key areas of performance efficiencies and develops tools/processes to provide more efficient service delivery.
Develops effective communication strategy across projects and constituency
Owns transformation of enterprise application area business requirements into technical specifications and delivering solutions.
Engages and collaborates with Quality and business teams to deliver solutions.
Drives all phases of IT Project Development cycle including process analysis.
