MANAGER, SUPPLIER QUALITY EVALUATION SERVICES(Job Number:1304427)
Description
Position Summary: This position will be responsible for owning all aspects of supplier quality evaluations for providers of services and products across Enterprise Services. Responsibilities include day-to-day management of the audit staff, including organizing, assigning and reviewing work, conducting performance reviews, and managing staff decisions. This individual will also collaborate with the audit requestor to understand requirements and associated risks, schedule audit resources based on business priorities, integrate plans with the other BMS audit areas, and coordinate all phases and activities of a supplier quality evaluation engagement.

Inspection and Audit Response Manager, and 3 Supplier Auditors. 3 Problem Managers and Service Provider Performance & Process Governance Analytics & Reporting Manager Key Business Partners: Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley General Computer Controls Business Process Champion, Deloitte and Touche Auditors
Detailed Position Responsibilities:
Works with the Associate Director, Enterprise Services Quality Evaluation Services to fully understand the role and responsibilities of the position.
Participate in the recruitment and training of teams to support the Quality Evaluation Services activities migrating to the Tampa centre.
Ownership of overall supplier quality evaluation service, including interaction with supplier management and participants
Drives decisions regarding the supplier audit results to effectively evaluate risks and controls
Advises affiliates through the development of control improvement recommendations
Day-to-day management of the supplier audit team
Demonstrates expertise of risk/control, BMS policies and directives, including Part 11 requirements
Develops strategic approach for the annual Periodic Review/Evaluation Program for Suppliers
Maintains the annual schedule and resource assignments for all Supplier quality evaluation activities
Ability to utilize analytics skills to quickly adapt an audit program to a specific supplier
Evaluates team's day to day activities during a supplier audit and manages necessary improvements
Leads/participates in supplier quality evaluations when required
Ensures report/observation information is entered into the Quality Evaluation Database
Works with appropriate personnel to attain remediation plans and ensures findings are tracked until closure
Qualifications
Desired Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA/Masters' degree preferred in IT, Business, or Controls
5-7 years of auditing/quality evaluation experience
IT and/or Controls experience is required
Understanding of organizational dynamics of a global corporation, operating culture, effective work styles, and achieving results in a change environment. Understanding of global pharmaceutical/BioPharma industry environments and competitive forces.
Demonstrate ability to ask probing questions, assess situations quickly
Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience at multiple levels across the organization. Handle confidential information with discretion. Demonstrate diplomacy in dealing with difficult situations.
Collaborate with key management and provide guidance on appropriate resolution of issues, as well as ability to gain the confidence and cooperation of the control owners to ensure appropriate input and dialogue on potential risks.
Strong planning, organization, negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectiveness in meetings, presentations and in written form
Ability to effectively build alignment and influence others in a Matrix environment. Demonstrate ability to work with limited supervision.
