Software company is looking for 2 project managers/business analysts. Individuals will function primarily in a Project Manager role, but time will be spent as a Business Analyst during the requirements gathering stage of projects. Typically, Project Managers are concurrently managing 3-5 projects with project life cycles averaging 3-12 months.
Duties:
- Work closely with the client team so a customer service personality and customer management skills are essential
- Manage the team to the implementation of the solution within the given timeline
- Work closely with the account manager and client team to ascertain a full understanding of the client's business requirements in relation to Supply Chain and E-commerce
- Work with the software product support specialists (including technical writers to ensure proper documentation for manuals.
- Work with Software and Web Developers and the QA team to ensure business requirements are met
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope of the Software Delivery Cycle to ensure the proposed timeline and budgets are met
- Produce reports: feasibility, productivity, budget to actual and team hour reports
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rate and utilization
- Translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs and Business Requirements Documents
- Utilize proper Methodology to manage projects
- Provide training to users for a new system
- Present proposals to clients
- Mentor and coach less experience project managers
Requirements:
- SDLC experience with Supply Chain, Fulfillment and Order Management systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, PeopleSoft, Retek, Oracle Financials, etc.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle for system implementation and business process management
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience with managing projects with various PMI Methodologies
- Experience working with E-commerce
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Proficiency with Agile Methodology, specifically SCRUM
