Based in Tampa, FL, (a few minutes from USF) we are the top software solutions provider catering to the medium-sized business market. Due to explosive growth, we are looking to hire for a FT/Permanent Sr. Software Engineer to join our team.
The primary responsibility is new product development and enhancements on the Microsoft .NET platform. You will tune and monitor application performance consistently and effectively. Experience Required:
* Bachelor's Degree Required----NO EXCEPTIONS.
* 3+ years of web-based application development experience in .NET.
* Skilled in .NET Technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server 2005.
* Experience in Web Development with HTML and JavaScript.
* Experience in Visual Studio 2005.
* Experience working on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
* Experience working with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience with SQL Server 2008.
* Experience in Visual Studio 2008/2010.
* Experience in IIS 6/7 administration.
Responsibilities:
* You will primarily doing 100% new development for custom applications for clients of varying size and scope.
* Develop in the .NET Architecture including IIS and SQL Server.
* Design, code, test, debug, and implement web-based applications in .NET/C#.
* Tune and monitor application performance.
* Maintain the security and integrity of the applications.
* Support production systems, analyze problems, and configure systems within the distributed computing environment.
* Some administration of IIS Server 6/7.
* Help improve overall software development strategies.
* Keep documentation as needed.
