Primary Responsibilities
Establish SGS as a supplier to the aerospace industry in North America
- In collaboration with the global team and the network, define and drive business strategy and performance through innovative initiatives
- Lead sales, marketing and services development. Interact with local/global team.
- Actively raise the profile of SGS within the TEM sector in North America region
- Engage with the network to drive replication and development of capabilities in North America
Reporting to
Global Head Aerospace Serivces
Specific responsibilities
- Develop, implement and drive strategy focused on North America, specifically the north east and north west USA and Ontario, Canada
- Lead and participate in positioning SGS to expand service and capabilities to the Aerospace market
- Identify and develop new services features to meet current and future customer needs and new revenue generation
- Create and develop strategy to increase aerospace testing services
- Identify opportunities and propose acquisition targets in accordance with the Industrial North America acquisition strategy
- Identify and replicate best practices or services in the network
- Maintain visibility and high level participation in related technical, industry and academia forums
- Be an active leader with respect to safety across SGS operations

- Strongly focused on the commercial aspects and drivers for the aerospace market
- Knowledge and experience in the field of aerospace
- Experience in market analysis and development of business cases
- Extensive experience in business development
Skills
- Fluent in English, French and Spanish will be an advantage
- Able to cooperate effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
- Able to plan, organize and implement a range of business development promotion programs and events
- Able to interact with all levels of customer management
- Able to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
- Works well under pressure
- Capable of working within a Matrix structured company
- Sales skills and business orientated
