Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing intermediate analysis and documentation, formulating logical statements of business and management problems, and providing solutions utilizing more efficient operational procedure, work flow, and information technology solutions.

Salary Range

From $66,960.00 To $107,136.00 Annually

This position is a Band Code: CS23.

Specific Job Related Duties

This analyst will be responsible for the design, analysis, implementation and maintenance of computer-based information systems, specifically Epic ADT, Prelude and Cadence. Installs, troubleshoots, maintains and modifies application software. Works as part of a team consisting of Clinical IS and operational counterparts to ensure systems are developed, installed and maintained for optimal performance.

MAJOR DUTIES/CRITICAL TASKS:

Leads and executes projects for implementation or optimization that are moderate to significant in complexity and size. Applies project management methodology in development and maintenance of project plans.

Reviews and understands system options and specifications of applications and utilizes the specifications as applicable to make recommendations on use.

Evaluate and make recommendations on usage and deployment of new technology as it relates to enterprise information systems strategic plan.

Consults with customers to understand workflows, processes, data collection, reports details and other technical issues associated with software as they relate to system design and build decisions that support the department's function and goals.

Understands impacts of changes required in Epic revenue cycle applications in order to support clinical changes.

Analyzes design alternatives and makes appropriate design decisions. Designs, validates and confirms new or changed functionality with the application environment that meets customer specifications. Understands and translates the operational department functionality into Application configurations and workflow validations.

Builds, tests, and debugs application to ensure the system meets end-user requirements. Participates in building complete testing plans to validate system parameters and functionality performs as specified.

Identify and resolve issues independently.

Completes assigned application deployment, management and testing tasks.

Maintains project documentation including resources used, decisions, outcomes, agreements etc

Works with vendor support as appropriate to ensure smooth implementation, optimization and operation of products, as well as reporting and resolution of issues.

Participates in a rotational on-call schedule in support of the application(s).

Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Mon - Fri (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of related experience.

Preferred License/Certificate

Epic ADT, Prelude, and Cadence certifications with NVT current through 2012.

Experience or certifications in Epic Identity, HB or PB is a plus

Preferred Skill/Competency

Strong problem solving and analytic skills as well as the ability to handle urgent and multiple competing priorities.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interface with customers at all levels.

Preferred Work Experience

At least 2 years' experience supporting an Epic production environment with revenue cycle and clinical applications installed.

Experience effectively managing multiple assignments involving competing priorities.

Experience leading and successfully delivering projects in hospital and clinical environments.

Experience or certifications in Epic Identity, HB or PB is a plus

Working knowledge of Epic EVS, Transport and/or RTE functionality

Experience managing IT projects of varying sizes and complexity with participation from various levels and departments of the organization.

Business process knowledge
