What you need for this position:
- A minimum of 5 years of user experience design and digital design
- A minimum of 5 years of information architecture experience
- Strength in crafting experiences that meet equally well the needs of users, identity and client goals
- Equal parts designer, information architect and usability professional
- Communicate and collaborate well across teams, including account managers and developers
- Strong understanding of the capabilities/best practices of HTML5 and responsive design
- Deep attention to detail with long term vision and strategy in mind
What you'll be doing:
- Wireframe concepts and work with design, Front End and Back End developers to refine and validate (this is our biggest need right now is detailed wireframes)
- This is a design & development role but more towards the design side
- This is a very hands on role; you will be coding
- Diagram workflows and work with account management through user acceptance
- Oversee the consistent definition, implementation, and evolution of smart UX patterns and interactions
- Work with development to create a solid prototype process for concepts and solutions
- Develop and standardize wireframe processes and practices
- Clearly present concepts and solutions to a varied audience
- Play a flexible role; acting as primary designer on your own projects and also as UX/IA mentor to others
- Be keenly aware of advancements in interactive technology and advocate for the appropriate application of those advancements
- Architect and implement continuous process improvement of the UX design team
- Mentor and direct a team of UX designers
- Work with development to assess ways to integrate Front End development at key points in the process to achieve production efficiencies
- Direct or assist usability testing as necessary
