* Design, develop and implement business solutions across a variety of environments.

* Work with Business and Technical Staff in analysing requirements and make recommendations on the appropriate of technologies to meet those requirements, using Agile Development methodologies.

* Primary focus for this position will be on Integration, Middleware, Java, and SQL.

Duties & Responsibilities: This position performs system and data analysis, system design, application development, and maintenance of the agency's complex, computer-based applications. This includes participating in RFP development, contractor selection and contractor performance monitoring. Consults with end users to define problems, goals and objectives for current or new application systems; Evaluates the feasibility of proposed new technology tools and systems. Determines the costs and evaluates the benefits that may be derived from system modifications or design of new systems. Prepares and maintains system documentation.

Qualifications & Desired Attributes:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of professional, consultative, technical, or administrative experience designing, constructing or analysing information systems.
OR
(b) two more years of experience providing a knowledge of information systems theory and principles.

15 quarter (10 semester) graduate-level computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent credits may substitute for one year of the professional experience.
