Essential Responsibilities:
1. This engineering position responsible for designing, developing and troubleshooting native apps for mobile platforms: iOS and Android.
2. Plans and executes projects with little supervision or guidance
3. Provides technical leadership and expertise to others in the department.
4. Mentors other engineers including offshore engineers.
5. Use Agile Scrum Methodology for software development.
6. Performs technical research, monitors current trends and changes in technology.
7. Plans projects prior to writing code.
8. Has all code changes peer reviewed, and must peer review code when required.
9. Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs.
10. Interfaces with necessary departments within company.
11. Demonstrates industry knowledge to assist in new product development.
12. Performs related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
1. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Two years of mobile development experience including published apps
3. Preferred candidate has cross-platform development experience: iOS and Android
4. High level of proficiency in OOD/OOP
5. Mastery of Objective-C and/or Java
6. Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously.
7. Ability to function in a team environment.
8. Desirable to have experience with audio signal processing concepts and products.
9. Knowledge of iOS or Android performance techniques.
10. High degree of attention to detail.
11. Familiarity with lots of apps - peruses App Store and Marketplace often
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Willingness to work in an office in Sandy, Utah
2. Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
3. Willingness to travel periodically
4. Willingness to work over 40 hours a week as required.
