Description:

ATK Aerospace Systems leads the industry in solid rocket propulsion systems, commercial and military aircraft, satellite components and subsystems, lightweight space deployables and solar arrays. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of our nation's capabilities in aerospace.

ATK is currently looking for a Software Engineer to work in our Clearfield, UT location.

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will use CAD/CAM tools to generate or edit Machine Programs to support automated stiffener forming, pattern cutting machines, and Laser projection systems.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and 1.5 years experience in Software Engineering
- Knowledge of CATIA V5
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing machine problems and instigate corrective actions and follow-up on equipment ie CNC mills/lathes, fiber placement equipment
- Prepare solid model or complex geometry
- Perform blue print reading
- Troubleshooting manufacturing processes
- Windows and MS office skills required

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience
- 4 years of experience as a Programmer or CATIA V5
- Familiarity with composites

Requisition may be filled at a lower level Eng I, Software (Grade 15) with a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering.
