Job Summary:
This position is responsible for developing the product strategy and managing the development life cycle, gathering, documenting and prioritizing product/customer requirements and specifications for product releases of the dealer customer relationship management (CRM) solution for H-D dealers worldwide. The Dealer CRM Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing the roadmap planning and providing functional leadership in the development, implementation, marketing, and sale of the dealer CRM solution. This strategic role will collaborate with various groups including marketing, legal, sales and regional markets to ensure all global stakeholder needs are being addressed.
Leadership responsibilities include:
- Managing the Dealer CRM product team
- Leading the strategic direction of Dealer CRM solution
- Leading the dealer CRM project work from inception through completion.
- Developing and maintaining Dealer CRM roadmap
- Contribute as a member of Retail Systems leadership team
- Directing and mentoring CRM Developers
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders from various cross-functional areas to define and plan projects.
- Developing and presenting business cases.
- Developing and managing third-party software requests for information (RFIs) and/or requests for proposal (RFPs).
- Coordinating and executing third-party software selection.
- Developing work plans and estimates for product management aspects of dealer CRM software development projects.
- Partnering with other department managers to ensure work plans, estimates, and escalation process flows are clearly defined, effective and efficient.
- Identifying, establishing, and leading continuous improvement initiatives for Harley-Davidson Dealer Systems (HDDS).
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required
MBA degree is preferred
Experience Required:
Minimum 7 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a technical environment
Minimum 3 years of experience working with CRM technology and systems
Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience in a technology/software development role
Strong experience in Microsoft Technology Platforms preferably Dynamics CRM
Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic technical projects/programs
Demonstrated leadership skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Process oriented, but must also be flexible and innovative
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with the Harley-Davidson dealer network is a plus
