Day to Day Work

Job Duties:

* Identifies system requirements by analysing existing Legacy systems, design and develop new Java database applications utilizing Oracle database, Tomcat server, RHEL OS and J2EE framework
* Builds and maintains a Java based, common software interface that allows application programmers to perform CRUD (Create, Replace, Update, Delete) operations within a relational database using Java POJOs (Plain Old Java Objects).
* Understands common design patterns associated with standard object persistence mechanisms, and standard persistence frameworks like MyBatis and Hibernate
* Demonstrates developing ReST (Representation State Transfer) based web services. Demonstrates the ability to create services using standard packages like Jersey or ReSTEasy.

Experience:

(5)+ Years of Oracle experience
(5)+ years of Java experience
(5)+ years of web app development (Tomcat and JEE)
(3)+ years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience
SQL and MyBatis/Hibernate (MyBatis is preferred) experience ReST Service development (Jersey or ReST Easy)
