CGI Federal is looking for a SQL Server DBA to work in our Dumfries, VA location. The selected candidate will manage an enterprise database supporting thousands of users. Working with the team, the successful candidate will have the responsibility to develop, debug, test and maintain new and existing, custom and integrated, SQL Server databases, SQL scripts and database objects. Expertise and work efforts focus on knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and 2008 R2. Working with multiple development environments, the administrator will also assist performing unit and integration testing. This administrator will also create and maintain appropriate documentation and contribute in team discussions and meetings and perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years direct experience is required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of directly related work experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.

Additional Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
- Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
- Must have SQL Server 2005 and 2008R2 with strong administration and debugging skills.
- Ability to update and maintain SQL Server databases based on new requirements.
- Must be able to support the program Monday Friday
- Security+ certificate required; CISSP certification is also acceptable
- Possession of an Active Clearance is required to start - may start with an Interim
- Must have experience with the following:

SQL Server Management Studio
MS SQL Server
Windows 2008 R2 Server
Windows SQL Server 2005 and 2008R2
T-SQL
Stored Procedures
MCSE - SQL Server or MCITP SQL Server or Legacy equivalent

Preferred
- Knowledge of C# a big plus.
