Microsoft IT Product and Services (MPSIT) is revolutionizing IT. MPSIT supports the delivery of products and services across Microsoft, this includes areas such as Source Code Management, Product Activation, Release Services and Services tools. We're a highly focused engineering team that is continually looking for better ways to engineer solutions.

The MPSIT Engineering team has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to lead the test team responsible for responsible for all MPSIT products and services. You will be in charge of managing a mature and smart team of leads and SDETs to define our overall test strategy while driving the test automation effort. Key responsibilities for this position include defining overall quality for the product, defining test strategy to meet those quality criteria and growing the team. In addition, you will work on the product code base to improve its test-ability, diagnostic-ability, debug-ability and overall product health. You will work closely with your development and program management counterparts to define the roadmap of the product.

Qualifications:
10+ years of technology experience
5+ years of experience building and leading highly effective teams.
The ability to think strategically, but execute pragmatically.
The ability to handle and resolve ambiguity and conflict.
A passion for people, process, technology and business.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to create an open and collaborative team culture.
Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate an ability to quickly come up to speed with new technologies.
Demonstrate high levels of energy, drive for results, attention to detail and a passion for the consumer entertainment space.
Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, strong development and design skills with a proven track record in designing and developing software verification systems and services.
Ability to plan for multiple releases and manage multiple projects.
A BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred.
This position is based at Microsoft's corporate headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
