Average Yearly Compensation: Based on Skills and Experience

Additional Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements, write test plans, construct test beds, execute test cases and document results
• Conduct periodic status meetings with vendor and client on testing and trouble ticket status
• Maintain all requisite records, policies and procedures to support ISO certified organization
• Day to day activities include:
  • Read and review product documentation and manuals, requirements and design documents
  • Create and follow test plans to cover specific requirements
  • Getting into a setup with limited information, and quickly understand the situation and identify potential problems
  • Apply a systematic process to narrow down and identify the root cause of problems
  • Explain technical problems and scenarios using non-technical language
  • Work in a team sharing documents and communicating information
  • Ability to follow processes, but to think outside of the box

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with traditional Video Head Ends (Trancoding, Muxing, Conditional Access, VoD, etc.) is a must
• Familiarity with CAS (DNCS or DAC), MPEG Muxing, Velocix Content Delivery networks (CDN)
• Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills
