Description
Key Role:
Serve as an experienced business architect to provide consultation and strategic guidance to our client's chief enterprise architect and other senior staff and help shape IT strategy and direction within the federal government. Leverage a proven record of success managing and executing business architecture (BA) tasks and deliverables across the full lifecycle of BA support. Maintain responsibility for business process modeling and the analysis of a complex enterprise, business model and functionality analysis, external organization and stakeholder collaboration, agile and waterfall business architecture documentation, working session facilitation, project chartering, business system concept development, business process and operating model design, business capability and organization modeling, business scenario or use case development, segment architecture approaches, integration of BA with technical and IT architecture, and business transformation. Work in teams investigating, analyzing, defining, tailoring, and implementing process supported by technology that help align business processes and technology with the enterprise's strategic goals and vision.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with business analysis
-6+ years of experience with developing and evaluating business needs and processes
-Experience with BA methodologies and frameworks, including FEA, FEAF, DODAF, C4ISR, TOGAF, Zachman, and Spewak
-Experience with BA modeling and visualization tools, including IBM System Architect, iGrafx, and Visio
-Experience with leading client engagements and briefing senior executives
-Experience with supporting stakeholder work sessions focused on making enterprise-wide decisions that balance and prioritize competing interests of individual stakeholder groups
-Knowledge of identifying and shaping business rules for the enterprise
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with consulting preferred
-Experience with supporting EA program in Treasury, IRS, PBGC, NSF, USDA, FDIC, and SEC
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree preferred
-Enterprise architecture, technology management, or other applicable industry Certifications preferred
