Job Description: .NET Developer

CGI Federal is seeking a .NET Developer to support our DoJ project that is based out in Washington DC. The project requires US Citizenship as candidates will have to go thru gov't required security clearance process.
Ideal candidate will focus on design and implementation of web-based data processing systems. They must be able to conceptualize solutions and explain the concepts to technical and non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities:

- 8+ years of ASP.Net development with C# (including .NET 4.0 with Visual Studio 2010)
- Familiarity with ORM tools (preferably Entity Framework)
- Experience developing N-tier web applications
- Experience in developing in medium to large size teams
- Knowledge of secure development practices
- Knowledge of SCRUM methodologies
- Experience using Team Foundation Server 2010
- Experience writing Stored Procedures for SQL Server
- SQL Server Reporting Services and/or report viewer (rdlc) development
- Experience in full system development life cycle including Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Implement and maintain security and data protection controls
- Maintain high level of knowledge and skill with all computer software related to the design and production of web sites/pages
- Interact and collaborate effectively with internal and external team members to assure client needs are met
- Assists in project planning; provides timely and accurate status and updates as required
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager

- Professional knowledge and experience with all standards and tools for Internet and web-related content delivery
- 7 years of experience or more in building web applications in .NET using C# (Microsoft Certified).
- Strong OOA/OOD concepts; designed and modeled applications using industry standard tools like Erwin, Visio; proficiency in using design patterns and strategies.
- Experienced in RDBMS covering Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.
