ETL Developer - ETL Developer, PeopleSoft USF, Java ETL Developer If you are an ETL Developer with experience, please read on! The ETL Developer will be part of a team to load data feeds from various Legacy sources into the data mart. The ETL Developer will also be responsible for ETL processes and tools as well as database loading and manipulation. This individual will carry primary responsibility for ensuring that the data needs for the project are met throughout the course of the project. In addition, the Developer will assist with Java programming as needed in a J2EE environment. This individual should be experienced working with XML files and XSLT. We offer a salary of $75-$95K.
What you need for this position:
-Experience working with XML files and XSLT
-3-5 years ETL development background
-Experience working with large Federal government projects.
-Experience in migrating Legacy data to ERP systems.
-Experienced in best practices design of ETL implementations in a high volume environment, including ETL software, database and hardware tuning.
-PeopleSoft Tools
-Strong Data Warehouse experience
-Excellent working knowledge of RDBMS and other data technologies eg, Oracle, Unix, IDMS
-Working knowledge of SQL Server, IBM DB2, UDB), XSLT, Java, J2EE.
-Strong Shell Scripting experience
-DataStage or Informatica
What you'll be doing:
-Interpret the transformation rules for all target data objects and develop the software components to support the transformation.
-Automate the ETL process through scheduling and exception-handling routines as well as source to target mapping development, support, and maintenance.
-Deploy an error management mechanism to capture all relevant error information and associate data in a manner that can be re-processed independently.
-Provide thorough metrics to measure progress and accuracy of data transfers.
-Deploy data cleansing requirements
