Description

Key Role:
Develop design documentation for new functionality or changes to existing functionality. Develop code to implement new functionality or change existing functionality based on requirements and design documentation, using Java, J2EE, XML, and SQL. Develop code to fix system defects. Perform test case and code peer reviews. Create technical documentation, including build plans and release notes. Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting and provide solutions to production issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-3+ years of experience in a technical field-1+ years of experience with Java/J2EE development-Experience with at least 3 of the following technologies: HTML, AJAX, JSP, Apache, Tomcat, Drools, JBPM, JMS, Q7, BPEL, Coherence, Jboss Cache, RedHat FSCache, JMX, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Hibernate ORM, MyBatis, BusinessObjects, Hadoop, JPA, Jboss, or WebLogic-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:-Experience with the Agile software development methodology-Experienced with distributed systems-Experience with application code tuning to reduce performance bottlenecks-Experience with at least 2 tools, including SharePoint, GreenHopper, Eclipse, JIRA, Confluence Wiki, Subversion, Bamboo, ANT, Junit, FishEye, Crucible, Clover, or PMD-Experience with user interface and usability expertise-Ability to work vertically across the technology stack-Ability to author software documentation
