Description
Key Role:
Design, implement, and deploy a BigData capable data center, including planning, designing, operation, and optimization of enterprise networks for large multi-servers, multi-instance parallel threads grid, and Cloud computing environment installations. Assist the client with the evaluation of several WAN, LAN, MPLS, DMVPN, or VRF alternatives. Support operations and maintenance of the enterprise network infrastructure in addition to architecture- and design-related activities. Serve as a senior-level resource to the organization for engineering and implementing functions. Define security strategy, including instance authentication configurations, schema, and encryption solutions. Develop the DR COOP, Automation, and maintenance strategy and oversee its deployment.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with designing and deploying enterprise network solutions, preferably on an MPLS or DMVPN network-Experience with determining and deploying quality of service and class of service on networks-Experience with recent Cisco Firewall products, network management, and monitoring including Cisco Works, Cisco ACS, Netflow, and Kiwi System Logs-Knowledge of standard computer and networking OSI Model concepts, Internet fundamentals, and virtualization technologies-Knowledge of security authentication and access control, including developing and deploying access control lists-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with federal government enterprise network environments-Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix-Experience in an analytical environment using very large data sets preferred-Experience with BigData, Cloud, and Hadoop infrastructure data center network environments-Experience with FISMA security policies-Current CCNA, CCNP R&S, and CCNP Security Certification preferred
